Best and Worst Mobile Banking?

The Halifax iPad app is very, very good.0

It will be an older version of the app - just like their website.
I've noticed they seem to use BOS are the guinea pig and if it works ok then roll updates out to Halifax / Lloyds then possibly TSB.paragon909 wrote: »Whats Halifax app got that TSB hasn't got. Currently the TSB, Lloyds and Halifax use the same system with branding making each look different. There are two different ways of mobile banking with each - there's the mobile app which is very cut down and designed to do basic things, and the mobile web version which is pretty much fully fledged. You can add the mobile web page to your homescreen and it feels just like an app. The one I use at any time depends on what I need to do. If you're comparing the Halifax mobile web app with the TSB mobile app then the Halifax one will appear much better. Compare like with like and I can't see there's much difference.
It shouldn't be too long before TSB moves onto the Sabadell platform - I have no idea what that will be like. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

The ability to cancel standing orders, for one.

TSB had the same online interface as Lloyds previously. Lloyds changed to some horrible app style website while Halifax & TSB both have the olds style still. Presumably TSB & Halifax have the same functionality online (non-app)GingerFurball wrote: »LBG's online stuff is miles ahead of TSB's.Mortgage (Nov 15): £79,950 | Mortgage (May 19): £71,754 | Mortgage (Sep 22): £0

That's not correct, I have accounts with all three, and Halifax online banking changed to the same horrible style as Lloyds did. I can't see any difference between them except that Lloyds is green and Halifax is blue. Only TSB is still on the old style.0 -
Lloyds lets you approve payments via the app too instead of them calling - TSB doesn't (or didn't unless its changed recently).
The Lloyds one is updated more frequently (you know when the picture changes). It gets stuff first like touch id support too. Its not really noticeable until you do something on lloyds then trying doing the same on TSB and realising it doesnt have it.
TSB did send an email months ago to say they were working on a new app, although according to their press updates it'll be early 2017 until anyone uses it.
