Delete tabs on android phone

Pop up on screen say delete tabs before opening another one, I'm not tech savey, the instructions are not very clear, can anyone assist please?

Often a browser will open a new tab, kind of sub-page, every time you go to a website, and you've reached the maximum it can handle. Find the little icon somewhere (maybe you have to swipe the screen up or down a little for it to appear), looks something like a stack with a number on it, tap it and all your already open tabs should show. Each will have an 'X' on the corner or beside it, tap this X on the ones you don't need any more to clear them.

When you open the browser you will see a number in a square on the right. This tells you how many windows you have open. Tap it and all the windows will minimise tap on the x next to the ones you want to close.
