IPhone prices announced

From The Telegraph -
Apple has announced that its long-awaited iPhone will go on sale to British customers on November 9.

The 8GB handset, which will be available exclusively to O2 users, will cost £269 - significantly more than the $399 (£200) that it retails for in the US.
The iPhone will sell for £269

Users will have to sign an 18-month contract with O2 priced at either £35, £45, or £55 depending on the call package.

Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO, made the announcement in person at the company's flagship Regent Street store in London, and said the company hoped to sell 10 million iPhones globally during 2008.

He said: "It is a breakthrough phone. It is a very powerful phone and it is super easy to use.
