Parking outside someone else's house seems to be the bane of modern life. It's all about being territorial, defending the boundaries and seeing off would be trespassers !

My Oh wouldn't say boo to a goose, yet jumped into action when the young lad across the road decided to park on 'our' front. She moved her car off the drive and placed it right behind him, blocking the vehicle in - then it was left to me to go and sort it out :rotfl:

To be honest, she did have a point, They have five vehicles so although there was room on their side, it would have meant him moving it later to let someone out.

    Such is life !
  • I have same problem as the original poster two cars but only one side of drive has a dropped kerb. Thankfully dint get too many people parking in front of other car,. Bottom line is one doesn't own the road in front of ones house so unless blocking an obvious dropped kerb or on yellow lines not a lot can be done, one just has to get on with it.

Have to admit I often park between two dropped kerbs round here...nothing wrong with it and if a person can't reverse 'round a corner' to get off their drive, they shouldn't have passed their test, IMHO...!
