Crystal Travel haven't issued me my ticket

I'm sure this story is familiar to some on here.
Earlier in the month I booked a flight to Asia through an agency called https://www.crystaltravel.co.uk/. I found the ticket price through Skyscanner or Momondo.
Anyway, I'm coming up to a few days before departure and they still haven't issued me my e-ticket. Needless to say I'm somewhat nervous as it appears I may have to cancel my travel plans.
What's interesting is that the airline I'd originally been booked on are actually offering fares to the destination at a very similar price to the agency.
What I'm hoping is that I can cancel the ticket with the agency and then book with the airline myself.
In the 'terms and conditions':
So, if I cancel I'll be charged a fee (no indication what that'd be).
This clause seems to cover them right up until the flight departure where if they can't issue me a ticket for the flight, they may allow me to cancel but more likely put me on a different flight:
I've spoken to them and the agent said he'd send me the e-ticket shortly but so far nothing.
So, it seems I have no choice but to hope for the best:mad:

In the 'terms and conditions':
12. Cancellation: 12.1 Cancellation before ticket issuance: - Should you or any member of your party be forced to cancel your flight or holiday, we must be notified, in writing, by the person who made the booking and who is therefore responsible for the payment of the cancellation charges.

9. Major changes for your Flight/ Holiday: If before you depart we have to make any major change to your holiday arrangements e.g. change of departure time of more than 12 hours, change of airport (but excluding changes between airports in the London region, aircraft type or airline) it will only be because we are forced to do so by circumstances usually beyond our control. In such an unlikely event we will inform you immediately and our objective will be to minimize your inconvenience. We will wherever possible offer you alternative arrangements as close as possible to your original choice. You will then have a choice of accepting, taking another available holiday of similar price or canceling. Should you choose to cancel you will be reimbursed all monies paid to us.

Moral is to book flight only direct with the airline and not through a third party/agency. If an agency offers a flight at a lesser price than the airline itself ask yourself why.0
