    I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad EH.  Take the time to grieve yourself as well as support your mum.  It is  a shame that the NHS failed him on this occasion.

    just wanted to say I’m sorry to hear about your dad. From my own recent experience from when MIL passed away I know it’s very hard when so much to do while supporting a parent but make sure you take time to rest and look after yourself too.

    Mark - you’ll understand I hope if I fail to appreciate your party politics at this time. The failures in my Dad’s care were absolutely nothing to do with funding, it your comment is inappropriate IMO as it essentially says that “it’s not their fault” - it was. There is a time and a place for political comment - the time is not now, and my diary is never the place.
