I do like your cost per gym visit stat in your signature.  Just think you could get cake and coffee for 2 and still be better off :sunglasses:

I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

We’ve reached Lundy - I’ve wasted no time climbing the stairs to my happy place!
De-lurking to say how uplifting that photo is.  I'll be in the Radio Room in a fortnight's time - can't wait!

So pleased you’re having a nice break and posting gorgeous photos. Keep them coming!

What a complete waste of time and money with the bins – very annoying

Debt consolidation – I am so I’m yet to prove whether or not this is worked for us. THIS TIME. What I can tell you is that we did consolidate in the past, long before my lightbulb moment, long before I really understood how it all worked. And yes, it was a complete disaster. Within a couple of years, we completely rebuilt up the debt. I need these diaries to keep me on the straight and narrow, it frightens me how easy it can be to slip back into old spending habits using the same old excuses. I need it to work this time.

    Debt Jan 2017 = £42k
    May 2022 = £15k
