LMG wanted her hair cut during lockdown. I bought some hairdressing scissors and watched a u-tube video. It could have gone horribly wrong but it turned out great! Just a trim at the back and cut in a long layer/fringe at the front. She does have extremely long hair so we started with the trim and decided if it did go wrong there was still going to be plenty left for the hairdresser to fix. Now she says she's never going back to the hairdresser and she'll save herself £30 a time. I told bf that I would watch another video and then attempt his. He said no. I'm not sure why.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Mr RS shaves his own head. He hasn't got enough hair to make a mess of it 🤣🤣🤣
I really must get mine done. It hasn't been cut since March and is starting to get annoying.4 -

Never underestimate the power of having a hairstyle you love (she says solemnly.....😏). I've spent quite a bit lately on having an extension type hair system put in place on my thinning scalp because I was getting so depressed with it. It will need to be replaced in two years but I have started a monthly budget for it and the periodic adjustment sessions have worked out slightly cheaper than my hairdresser appointments for highlights and cut. Worth every penny in my opinion. 👩🦰
P.S. jumping back a few pages re the Death Cafe, there is an interesting book out there called 'The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning.' Basically the Swedes have got the right idea in that the elderly and their families get together to set their affairs in order before they go off on the Last Great Adventure - it's a lovely little book.

Ooh I would love to get extensions. My hair is terrible after years of iron deficiency.
I quite like cutting Mr Paws hair. But he likes to go to the hairdressers to be fussed over by the ladies in there and have them cluck over his craniotomy scar. He is such an attention-seeker.Debt Jan 2017 = £42kMay 2022 = £15k3 -
I am currently enjoying being pampered at the hairdressers. I did cut and DD coloured my hair a few times during lockdownAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
