You need to keep them abreast of any change of address in the next 6 years. Very important.
You will also need to inform the DVLA - once for your driver licence and once for your V5C (log book), there's no read-across, one to the other. And failure to notify the DVLA carries a real fine (not a toy town PPC charge) of up to £1,000.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

(And I spent 10 mins alone googling for the car park owners! I think I need to start going to page 2 and beyond of googles searches, I really appreciate you finding them. I will email them too.)
Yes it took me three different keyword searches and that was on page two of one set of results I think. They were harder to Google than some places as they have no working website. I did find that someone had done a 'FOI request' to see if CP Plus had put in for Advertising consent/Planning Permission for that location and in 2015, they had not...but the Council then confirmed they flung in a retrospective application, so in 2016 I decided that was not an issue now. Looks like they sorted it.OK please one question, do I keep cpp / zzps / the solicitors updated of any address changes in this period? I'd be thinking to do this, in order to stop letters coming to my parents address because they hate the stress.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you all once again, you REALLY make an excellent team on here. Now I will only ever deal with CP Plus or their solicitors, not zzps who are to be ignored. And I know what to do about address changes.
Coupon-Mad, the FOI council info on two saints carpark was all I had been able to find, I couldn't find Aldi's new CEO email either, so I'm very happy to have the landowners to go on. You are a google guru. I can chase aldi CEO through their c/service email possibly though.
So I will phone the trading standards (TS) officer back who agreed to liaise between me and zzps and explain she should direct her letter to CP Plus instead.
Then I will send a letter for attention of CPP not zzps - to say what you advise (which includes what the TS advised, to help limit court payout should it ever go that far and I lose).
OK, I will get onto all this.
You have all really given me a proper life line here, I get cognitive dysfunction from lack of brain energy and couldnt have done this alone trying to read the threads again and again. We'll see how I and my parents manage as the letters roll in but you have prepared me very well and I am very appreciative. THANK YOU0 -
for anyone looking for Aldi's CEO in the UK- email customer.service@aldi.co.uk (not services)
putting for attention of CEO Matthew Barnes in the title. Aldi c/s told me they have word recognition software that will direct it to him. He is a joint CEO but he is the main one geographically in UK except south west.0 -
Hi can anybody help..I too parked at two saints retail park in ormskirk, and I paid for the extra hours parking, I displayed my ticket correctly and left within the allotted time, two week on I receive a Parking Eye charge notice for £100, annoyingly I haven't kept the ticket stubb, but I can tell them what time and which machine I paid on, I paid with cash so no paper trial..can anybody advise? I have appealed but without any paper evidence I'm not hopeful, but surely their machine can retrace transactions..
Any help would be appreciated0 -

Just to update you with my good progress.
POPLA have had to reopen their terrible decision after I wrote to my MP with my evidence.
They claim they missed some evidence, their original decision rebuked my full evidence so they are lying to cover themselves sadly. But hopefully this may begin to help stem the tide of bad POPLA appeals noted on MSE in 2016.
I found no joy writing to Ald''s CEO and directors team, but I got very good help from the two saints Ormskirk car park OWNERS - fairacreproperty.co.uk. I wrote to both their directors on their website and they had a colleague onto CP+ straight away, later informing me CP+ are pulling the PCN. I'm told by the owners to expect written confirmation from CP+, so I can put this to rest. I was just writing to the local newspapers when they called me, but because fairacre were nice I left them out, as they are very keen to avoid bad newspaper coverage at two saints. So do pursue this with the newspapers if you are not getting anywhere.
SO THAT'S GREAT NEWS. and to think before I came on this forum I was minutes away from paying £150. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME.
Also through my MP, Lancs County Trading Standards (Pam Wood) liaised with CP+ (and their debt collectors ZZPS) on my behalf which felt extremely helpful to me, especially mentally in coping with this day to day. Not sure which approach did the trick, recommend the combo of everything. CP+ are no longer the operators, fairacre tell me. If I had to do this all again and was the registered keeper I would just bin all their PCN demands as a lady I met in Ormskirk did, CP+ gave up on her after a few months.
I hope my experience and the excellent help I've received from kind members on here helps anyone else at two saints car park Ormskirk. Fairacre said they expect this to be an isolated incident of complete CP+ system breakdown, but I see someone else now on thread saying they too paid up yet are being pursued, so I suspect CP+ are much worse than fairacre want to know.
Now I have somehow gone in a bus lane in one of Preston's revamped fishergate town centre roads without seeing any signs, and have a £60 (£30 early payment) charge I am going to have to look at quickly now. At least the council use fines to look after our public services unlike CP+ who are just pursuing others for their own system failures.
Any quick advice on that would be most appreciated.
kind regards

Well done on hopefully getting your unfair PCN and dreadful PoPLA decision resolved. Writing to the landowners and your MP was a really good idea.
As for the bus lane problem, go to pepipoo.com, read the FAQs and then post both sides of your redacted letter for the regulars to see.
You will need an email address to register with pepipoo, but Hotmail accounts don't work for some reason..

Good work James,
just goes to show what complaining robustly to landowners can achieve.
Ref, the bus lane PCN - your best bet is to go to Pepipoo.com and go to the appropriate forum there - here we only really deal with private parking charges.
