Sending huggles your way...
:grouphug:
...just because...
Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain. - Vivian Greene
Thank you lovelyHuggles always welcomed and accepted
Well, I got off my harris this am and I have not only got some bits and bobs for the FB, but as I was actually in the vicinity of the community hub, I dropped them off there and then, rather than plodding on round to the bank. I picked stuff that was on the 'most wanted' list - which was updated at the end of April. So immediately useful.
BG is back to eating us out of house and home, but has started to eat somethings that they previously wouldn't so I regard it all as progress :j I'm really glad that they will now eat cheese, as they won't drink milk and I was worried about calcium intake. As whilst I know plenty of foodstuffs contain calcium, the ones that BG would eat were still limited
Right, BG is snoozing, so I had better vamoose and make pizza dough. I've just had a flurry of phonecalls and watzup communications, so I'm running late.
Ta for popping in. Greatly appreciated. Always.

My nephew doesn't like milk, but has yogurt, cheese and broccoli so we reckon he's ok. Obviously his sister thinks he is weird!
He also drinks hot chocolate...

Good Evening :hello:
greenbee - great thought, but BG resolutely refuses to get within half a yard of anything remotely green, so broccoli is a no-noHence why I'm delighted about the cheese
I forgot to mention that a friend came round t'other day and left us a shed load of foodie bits and pieces - I suspect that they left more than they intended, but we all got distracted and things got over-looked. Still, on the upside, if you leave food with Greying, well then you know it is in a good homeWe utilised spinach in a mushroom (remnants of 'shrooms got from mrAl), spinach and pasta dish, which also used up the YS'd 15p (did I mention that already???) pot of organick cream
- v v nice
Some cheese that has just adorned our pizza, bread which was popped in the freezer, but is used for toast and BG is loving it (posh varietal that we don't normally have
nom!) and eggs that adorned many a 'egg-mayo sanger' - which also were taken out doors on a picnic :j We've enjoyed a feast because of our friends generosity
:T
Tea this evening was black olive pizza, sweet potato wedges and a mayo dip that I made up on the fly. Trouble is, when we were eating the dip, with the wedges, we both thought it quite nice....... as I added a pinch of this, a splodge of that and and sprinkle of t'other, do y'all think I can remember what went into it?????? Blow! Ah well, it'd never turn out the same anyway - I never measure things.......
I remembered that I had forgotten to return my libray books, so we trundled over to the library this arvo. I also picked up a new book of stamps, to keep up with my correspondence, and some cut-priced mAgnum$ may have fallen into my basket in h3r0n, on account of it being all summery and hot and stuff.......... :whistle:
Today I am grateful for these 3 things;
other folks generosity
communication - by electronic or postal means
a blossoming BG - each day brings something different, and for that I am very grateful:D:T
Ta for popping in. Appreciated. Greatly. Always.

Do you know, I was just thinking about lolly ices
It was Fabs specifically I was thinking about (or rather the @ldi knock offs, 'ice blitz'). Most enjoyable, and a good treat for me, because while they satisfy my sweet tooth, they're one of the few sweet things I can just have ONE of without rushing to eat the whole packet
(which sadly I suspect would be the case with m@gnums, especially if they were double caramel ones...
)
Yay for leftover food :j I love it when people leave odd bits and pieces at my house, and try to do it at other people's houses at every opportunity (I'm sure they think I'm mad). Always good to have a random assortment of things, especially if you wouldn't necessarily buy them yourself. We had some extremely tasty olives left here a while back and they were most deliciousMostly people seem to leave us with alcohol :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good Morning :hello:Are you quite sure the stork left you the right baby? I'm sure you would have ordered a vegetable-eating one :cool:
Ha ha! I know, I know! I can only assume that because I 'overlooked' actually ordering BG, I got a free-gift, without the vegetable-eating gene insertedWe'll get there
At present, they certainly eat a wider variety of foods than some family members did at that age, and in comparison with others,they eat a lesser range of foods. I guess BG is being 'BG'. Interestingly, a mum-chum who's child ate anything and everything at the weaning stage, has now become very picky. I guess it's just one of those things. I hope we can eventually - at some stage - get to BG eating a wide-range of foods, without hesitation. If they wish to eat meat/fish, I won't stop them. They do currently eat fish fingers.
Right, DH has work, so we won't be pottering out and about today. Tea will be a curry plate - I'm thinking sweet potato jalfrezi, dhal & rice at the mo. I was going to make some of the 'Happy Pear' breakfast sausages too - to then make into sausage rolls, just in case we go adventurising anywhere over the next 2 days. I also need to sort out the freezer - it's a bit full, not necessarily of 'high quality' things - mostly cooked pasta for BG's meals......
I didn't get around to sorting the chazzer things. I can do that today.
Other than that, life is pretty sweet.
Ta for popping in. Appreciated. As ever.

Old habits die hard! (teasing)
We've been doing the asparagus/mushroom/egg/toast meal on a Monday for weeks now - OH hasn't even noticed meatless Mondays have crept into our existence! - and he does 95% of the cooking now.
