Abusive and threatening calls from Accident and Advice Helpline

I've been having endless calls recently 'about the accident you had'. Nothing stopped them, until I got a call asking to speak to me and I said 'oh I'm sorry she's dead' They were so apologetic and said 'we'll take her off our database' and I've had no calls since!! Drastic but its worked

Caller Display and a habit of not answering the phone to unknown numbers works for us.

We only answer the phone if we know the caller and want to speak to them.

Unknown callers get the answerphone. If they start to leave a message and we realise that we do want the call we can then pick up the phone.

Calls dropped off in the afternoon so hopefully they got bored, but we shall see.

Well, they have a link on their site to Facebook and appear to be endorsed by Esther Rantzen. Perhaps make recordings of the calls and muddy both names on social media until they decide to accept your request for them to stop calling.
