There's a hole in my bath

Hi all
Hope you're all good.
I had my whole bath room re tiled a few weeks ago & I love it. I usually take shower (attached to the wall & in the bath, not a separate cubicle) & rarely have a bath.
Last night I wasn't feeling grand so I thought I'd have a bath, long story short I had a nice bath came down stairs to make my gnocchi & low and behold there is a huge water patch on my kitchen ceiling. I ran back upstairs & I noticed a tiny hole on the curve of the bath (where the floor of the bath meets the sides) which is where the water was leaking out from. Obviously as the water isn't deep enough when I have a shower, it hasnt leaked before.
My question is, could I use something like this on the underside of the bath http://www.halfords.com/motoring/paints-body-repair/fillers-preparation/davids-fastglass-glass-fibre-kit-large & use this on the inside on the bath http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/cramer-scratch-and-chip-repair-1845-14382 ?
Obviously I need to try & dry the area out underneath the bath too, does anyone have advice on how to do this?
TIA!!
Hope you're all good.

I would think any repair will be a bodge job and not last a great deal of time or work at all on the bath, Although it has been tiled already in my view a new bath is the only way to sort or never take a bath again and only shower, I'd not be happy with this option though.0

Bath will be replaced eventually however with Christmas coming up I'm hoping to do a quick fix for now....Dwy galon, un dyhead,

I think with a repair on the bath and bearing in mind it is fibreglass when using it and filling it up the weight in it would most likely split the fix you make due to being bonded together.
If a repair is made to make it look better then no problems but to use it after I would be very cautious.0 -
You need expert advice. You need to find something hard that will grip to your existing surface.
Try cementChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
You could try Gripfill - on the underside of course. It is not supposed to be waterproof but I have used it in wet conditions and it works. Just let it dry out before use. Maybe also put a patch over the area once you've covered it in Gripfill.0

Get a cosmetic repair done . There are companies that specialise in repairs and they do lastHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0

I wonder if some decent duct tape on the inside of the bath wouldn't suffice as a temporary measure.0

I've only used it on cars but I think Tigerseal may be good for a temporary fix underneath until you get a new bath. This stuff is unbelievably strong and very waterproof... sticks very well. It's a bit messy to use, although i've always used the black whereas they do a white variety which will obviously look better for a bath.0

Thanks all, have someone popping in tonight to advise on whether it can be done as a short term fix. Good news is the plasterboard is ok & can be sprayed with a stain block before repainting...Dwy galon, un dyhead,
