Hi
I am sad to read your situation. Have you used ebay before? You might have things that you could sell especially computer games etc (as long as they work well). I recently managed to make £300 selling things that I rarely used or didn't use at all.
If you have a good look around your flat/house you might find things that you can sell so that would really help you.
There are tips on here about how to spend less on food etc. Good luck. You can do it.

Hi
Does the other person in the household work/contribute?0 -
Well done on all the ways you found to cut costs. I hope your contract is extended!
If you need to borrow money from people and can pay it back at the very first instant, then they are more likely to help you out agin in future. If they realise you are putting money into savings or not grocery shopping in the cheapest place before paying back then you might find it harder to borrow again. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

I hope it's extended too! Just gives me more drive to work harder.
I understand what you mean about spending but I've been unemployed since January, except for 3 months on a €1000 salary abroad, I really haven't had any opportunity to be frivolous or repay. Believe me, I would have dealt with this a lot sooner if I had have had the means to do so.0 -
Sounds like you may be in quite an insecure profession. Are there opportunities to get work in a different area? 1000 euro isn't even minimum wage and you had to move abroad to get that?
Hope your contract does get extended but I still feel you will need to make payments to your friends who lent you money but obviously the emergency fund will have to stay given that you are not sure how long your contract will be for. 3 months at £400 will at least mean £1200 repaid.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. It's actually a job with a rather large multi national; business needs must have changed. Kind of scary0

At least you have managed to make some cutbacks on your internet and entertainment so that can go to the emergency fund along with the grocery savings.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Aren't there any benefits like tax credits you could claim to top up your income if needed?0
