Nationwide ISA Interest Tier

Both the Members ISA and Instant Access ISA have different rates of interest depending on the amount deposited. For example it says interest is 6% for over £25,000. But does that mean only amounts in excess of £25,000 get 6% or does the whole amount get 6% if the total is over £25,000 ?

Thats good because I get 6.05% with B&B EISA and I have over 25K and I wanted to consolidate with just 1 savings provider so I should hardly lose out if i do a switch to NW.

Do you know offhand how long you have to have a NW account to qualify for a members ISA ? I have just found out it is 3 years. I have had a Portman account for 10 years so they should accept that. How can you give notice to withdraw - can you just send an email to them ? And can you just do an instant withdrawal if you dont mind losing 60 days interest.
