If Victoria's really wanting to get pizza on the cheap, she should go down to Morrissons', where Goodfellas Delicia pizzas are now UKP2.19 for 3 - a buy 1, get 2 free offer.0

No way - if she knew she could not eat her money's worth from the buffet she should have ordered something smaller and cheaper.0

As soon as he'd sussed out how things worked, he told us to phone around 10.30pm with an order for a few pizzas. Then, when we failed to show up to collect them, he'd innocently shrug his shoulders at the manager, tut about the nature of people who would be so irresponsible as to order food and then not turn up for it and graciously accept the manager's kind offer for him to take them home himself since he happened to be knocking off in a few minutes' time. Fresh pizza all round for us. Granted it was hardly haute cuisine, but doubtless we were less discerning back then and knowing it was free certainly enhanced the taste. Immoral? Doubtless. But pretty harmless teenage high jinx really - in fact I was quite impressed by the intelligence shown by little bruv...
 Cheeky !!!!!!! Have to say though, back then all the dough would've been thrown out at night, so he was probably just, erm, avoiding wastage. Quite ingenious in an eversoslightly immoral way - what did he go on to be once he'd left Pizza Hut? Master criminal?! :rotfl:0 -
Unless she sought and received the permission of the staff, she was completely wrong. The cost to Pizza Hut, the quantity she has eaten already and the nutritional value are irrelevant. No Personal or Unapproved links in signatures please - FT30

I wouldn't personally do it myself (for lots of reasons!) but I don't really see anything wrong with it in that situation. I'm pretty sure that Pizza Hut couldn't care less about a couple of slices and realistically, it's not something that is likely to become widespread among customers. Calling it theft is a bit harsh I think!!:heart2:

Well
having worked in the catering industry for many years, I think her only taking the pizza is quite normal, some people don't stop there, they take home the condiment containers and the cutlery and dishes.
Is it right, probably not, but most people who come to such buffets don't take more than what they eat on the night.

Well as poor David isn't working at the moment they could be down to their last 100 million, he can't face the embarassement of not being able to feed the family when deep down he is eggin her on to take the pizza.
Anyway I think we on this forum should petition Pizza Hut to do them an all you can eat while your out of work freebie :TAlgarve0 -
It worries me that people can find excuses for theft. Right is right and wrong is wrong. In this case there are no grey areas. I love to read thses moral mazes, but sometimes the morality of replies is doubtful. How lovely it would be if everybody stuck to mine and thine.0

I'd say she should be seriously encouraged to keep her pizza and eat it. if ever anyone needed a good meal it's her! There's no way they'd ever have eaten in that restaurant anyway let's face it.......He's probably right morally of course.:footie: and she sets a bad skinny size minus 10 example for women and young girls in general - feed her up!0
