If you set up 2 direct debits from the same Tesco account the digits before the forward slash would be the same but the digits after it would be different.

if you set up a direct debit from different Tesco accounts the digits before the slash would also be different.

Was just checking hubbies bos accounts and has had no interest October or November. Checked the Tesco DD's and they are from 2 different accounts. So don't know what has gone wrong. I did notice one of the DD's says "not known" in the frequency column but the DD has been taken out each month. Just tried to check on Tesco banking and its not available at the moment :eek:

Try to set the two different DD for different dates. It might help to differentiate the separate mandates.

Probably stating the obvious but did he fulfil all the criteria?

• pay at least £1000 into your account each calendar month, and
• stay in credit (above £0) during the monthly billing period, and
• pay at least two different Direct Debits from your account each calendar month.

I have three DDs having been stung by Lloyds in the past when due to the alignment of the stars one DD went through later than normal with the result of only one DD being paid that month. No interest paid and being told tough...


Hence why I have three on all Lloyds/TSB/BOS A/Cs
