Which is the best deal?

Hi, I have used the MSE cheap energy club to compare prices on my next tariff. For dual fuel it comes out at £64 a month with Sainsbury's:
Gas
Unit rate
2.573p per kWh
Standing charge
26.009p per day
Electric
Unit rate
9.818p per kWh
Economy 7 unit rate
6.489p per kWh
Standing charge
26.009p per day
Gas alone with Zog
Unit rate
2.536p per kWh
Standing charge
8.400p per day
Electric alone with Flow
Unit rate
10.919p per kWh
Economy 7 unit rate
5.856p per kWh
Standing charge
24.150p per day
Current supplier offer for next 12 months (Extra Energy)
Electric
Unit rate
10.5 per kWh
Economy 7 unit rate
7.785 per kWh
Standing charge
18.69 per day
Gas
Unit rate
2.942p per kWh
Standing charge
18.078 per day
They are all fixed for a year and I would say that I am not using much electricity on the economy 7 rate. My current figures are:
Annual gas consumption 5221.5kWh
Annual electric consumption 5738 kWh
Any advice would be much appreciated!

You will need to separate the two usages of electricity then for each supplier take 365X standing charge and the usage X relevant rate, for each fuel and add them up.
There will be a calculator on your computer.0 -
Clearly Zog is your best bet for gas as it has both the lowest unit rate and lowest Daily Standing Charge(DSC) of those you have quoted. That is excellent because many of the cheap companies for gas will not allow you to have gas only.
As said above, you need to give us the peak and off-peak consumption figures. It might be cheaper to not have an Economy 7 tariff but get a straight 24/7 'normal' tariff.0 -

Surely the CEC tells you what is the best deal for you, doesn't it?
What it doesn't do particularly well, is to look at the best deal where that involves seperate fuel suppliers, but it's not too difficult to get the CEC to do that for you too by filtering by each fuel.
All you have to then do is check which cheapest; the 2 sepaerate fuel supplies (you'll have to add the 2 annual costs together yourself) or a dual fuel tariff.0
