As if their "Sorry you have not won" emails were bad enough I really do not like the new format "find out if you have won"
So, you now click a link to a page, wait for the little pop up which then takes you to another page to tell you "you have not won".
As you have clicked on a page with offers on the prize you entered for, then you will later receive an email from them reminding you about the offer, then another email with last chance for the offer.
Talk about overkill.
As bad as companies (wowcher springs to mind) where you enter the comp and obviously have to agree to receive emails from them, to then be bombarded with about 5 emails per day on a daily basis.
Rant over

It gets on my nerves as well. Completely unnecessary. All they have to say is 'bad luck, you didn't win, do you want this offer?'
It's another one of those 'if it ain't broke....'
Be LuckyBEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.
comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j0 -
So annoying. I preferred it when they just put "sorry you didn't win this time" in the subject title, then I could just delete without looking. Even the old, old way where they used to put "have you won?" and then once you looked at the body of the email it clearly said that you haven't won.
To be quite honest I'm 99% sure that they don't inform winners by making them click through from a "have you won" email, but there's always that nagging 1% that tells you that you could be missing out if you don't look!!0 -
It really irritates me too  so unnecessary!Save0

I suppose we won't know for sure until someone posts a win in IWIWIW and confirms if they were informed directly by email, or if they found out via clicking the link in the email :undecided Please let someone from MSE win one of these comps soon!=^._.^= You will always be lucky if you know how to make friends with strange cats =^._.^=0 -
I've just logged into my vouchercloud and there's a new profile page called " followed Brands". I've got none, mine is clear - I'll have to wait see if I get the emails you mention above. I only entered a pile of vouchercloud comps 2 days ago, and only one has finished so far, so too soon to say.
Suggestion: besides checking your email settings, also check if you have anything on the Followed Brands page.0 -
Out of curiosity, has anyone ever won with Vouchercloud or known of a winner in the past?!0

As a side re my mention of Wowcher above. I registered with them on 19th Oct and so far have now had 22 emails from them in 6 days  Yesterday I unsubscribed but surprise yet another email this morning in my inbox.
I have now had a rant to them via their contacts us formThe best things in life are free.....0 -
I have to agree, the new format is very annoying - having to click two more links and opening two more webpages takes far too long!
I've been told by Vouchercloud that the reason for the change is pressure from the competition sponsors. The pay-off for the extra effort is that they have been able to offer more competitions with higher value prizes. Before the change, most VC prizes had a value of about £250. Many of the latest comps are for £500 and there are currently 19 comps running with a total value of over £8000. I'm not trying to justify the new process, just passing on info received.
For the avoidance of doubt, I don't work for VC or have any formal connection to them. I received the above info on the back of passing on some feedback a few months ago about the previous 'have you won' emails. I will pass on the comments made on this thread.0 -
After clicking the links yesterday to discover I had not won, I then got the "Hey are you still interested in this offer" email this morning. I therefore logged in to see if I could change my subscriptions. Low and behold I was not subscribed for any of their mailings.
I therefore completed the feedback form to advise I was not subscribed for anything but yet I still get regular emails from them. I did receive a very prompt reply advising that they have unsubscribed me!
Did not really answer my question though. The best things in life are free.....0
