Amazing Customer Service From Next

I ordered a lovely suit for my boyfriend from Next's online clearance section. Total cost £45 for the trousers and jacket.

Picked them up and took them home, unfortunately the trousers sent were (a) not what I ordered and (b) not a match to the jacket.

Went into store and explained showing my order and that what I received was not what I ordered. In store staff were lovely and deduced that the trousers had had the wrong tag put on them.

Unfortunately due to it being clearance stock they couldn't check instore if the trousers were in stock anywhere I'd have to phone the directory. So I took the jacket away and phoned the directory. No stock anywhere on the trousers.

Directory staff were as lovely as instore staff and very generously told me to order ANY other suit online and they would honour the sale price!!!

Fantastic service, small mistake remedied immediately and definitely in my favour.

Well done next.

    I was amazed, fully expected a 'sorry it's clearance nothing we can do', or maybe a small discount off next order at the most.

    Haven't been into Next for quite some time but weren't Next suits described as ideal for a first job interview or your first court appearance?

    At £50 for trousers alone it should be not too bad quality.

    Haha, possibly. Their offer was very generous though and I didn't want to take the pee.

    I assumed they meant any other Next suit, I don't think they sell Armani, but if they did then they could have shot themselves in the foot :).
