Would you leave the toilet brush??

I know it's not strictly money saving (and it's not that i haven't got other things to worry about) but we're first time sellers, moving on friday and am curious as to whether I should leave the toilet brush?

It's to settle an argument really thats been going on for a few days now, but whilst i'm on the subject should I also leave a few other 'essentials' like toilet roll, cleaning products etc??

I'd leave a toliet roll just in case the new owners get an urgent need before they find their own but to leave your toilet brush - I'd hate to find someones elses bog brush in my new house.

    Hi

I left a loo roll for the moving men etc (you can never find what you've packed when you need it quickly) and any leaflets for boilers, cookers etc that are staying (its no fun not knowing how to turn the CH on) We moved in to a house where the couple had split up (badly) and they had even taken the light bulbs:eek:

    Happy moving day

If I was moving out, I'd leave
    Toilet paper
A cheap kettle is you have one
    Tea
    Milk
    Sugar
    Biscuits
    & a couple of mugs
I guess the total cost would be about £20 & they'll love you forever. I might also consider leaving a bottle of cheap fizz.

This is always assuming they're ftbers & not developers/btlers.
"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.

A loo roll, a letter with bin days etc and a bottle of wine.

I quite like the tea and biscuits idea! Is it only me that heads straight for the bottle?

  • thanks guys, your obviously a lot kinder than some of my friends, they've told me to leave absolutely nothing!!

Looks like i lost the battle on the toilet brush front, but won the war on leaving at least something!
  • Tilet brushes are rank and full of nasty's anyways, i dont own one and never will, if i bought a house and the prevous people left their toilet brush i'd make them come and remove it _pale_

  • bleach
  • If it needs scrubbing i'll use and old scouring sponge which is thrown away straight after.

    Toothbrush.

Actually, I use a cheap scouring sponge to scrub the bathroom, finishing with toilet bowl after it's had bleach on it for 10 minutes. Then the sponge sits in bleach/water for a day.
    Happy chappy
