Eeh - when i were a lad and bought my first tank of petrol for my newly acquired A35 van, petrol cost four shillings and tenpence ha'penny a gallon.

The end hand van cost me £65 - half of which i had to borrow off my dad with the promise i'd repay him within 6 months.

    Ah those were the days.

Stop, stop - that's enough nostalgia for one day. ;)

Even nostalgia is not what itused to be. :p

It rotted out and was scrapped many, many moons ago.

Probably in someone's collection, early e types seem to fetch the most :(

EEeeeeeeehhhhh Nostalgia isnt what it used to be,right right right.

I remember my dads Hill Imp POH837M and my first car a Ford Escort 1100cc, JHA990N.
Shame nobody taught me the delights of said escort on a hill in the snow. A wall jumped out in front of me and i ploughed through it.

Funny thing it it still drove home, minus some lights and some bodywork.

Learned the error of my ways and bought a mini instead DCK220S.

False memory, it was somewhere between 81p-90p/litre in 2004.

Back in 2002 it was 76.9p per litre for unleaded

Just filled up and paid £1.159 for diesel. That's up nearly 10p in the last 2 months. But at least we've got our freedom :)
