Thomas Cook Airlines Hold Baggage Dimensions

Do anyone know if Thomas Cook Airlines are really strict with the dimensions of your hold luggage?

We have a flight from the US to the UK and it states that the maximum dimensions are 158cm (length+width+height).

My case equals 162cm, so only just over! Not sure whether to book an additional piece of baggage and take a smaller case or take the risk of using the original case.

Any info would be great!

No one can answer that question. If someone says yea, we got away with a bigger case, it doesn't mean you will. It's down to the check in agent on the day. Chances are it will be ok, but it's up to you whether you take that chance, or risk coughing up for an over size bag.
