Comparison sites for flights

Found flights to Cyprus next year on various sites cheaper than direct with Thomas Cook.
Any advice or recomendations on which to use, as prices are the same on a few different ones.
Thank you.

it is not so much the comparison sites that you need to be aware of, more the sites that they direct you to.
Many third parties do not have live pricing so the fare displayed may not be available (but 'luckily' gets them to show on the top of the search as the cheapest!)...process often as follows
1) find the cheapest fare which happens to direct one of the many shoddy third parties
2) request to book and pay your money
3) 24-48 hours later....contact from third party to advise that the displayed fare is no longer available so you have the choice of paying the additional to carry on with the purchase or wait x weeks for a refund
I would suggest checking out any reviews for the sites you are seeing these cheaper fares on (edreams, bravofly, opodo, lastminute etc)...you can ultimately end up paying more than booking direct with the airline
I like Google flights for comparison as the third party options tend to be less of the norm0 -
Couple of sites I've looked at, actually take you to Thomas Cook website, but at £33pp cheaper.0

A price comparison site is a price comparison site. It's the companies that pay to advertise on them you need to watch out for. They're all ok as long as you can book direct with the airline, or just use them to find flights and then go to the airline site to book.Couple of sites I've looked at, actually take you to Thomas Cook website, but at £33pp cheaper.
How is that possible? The airline website doesn't change price because you've found it via a price comparison site. Which sites have you found that do that?0 -
You don't say where you are intending to fly from or to.0
