Thanks for posting these, most of them are pretty good - I use a few of them already! If I may make a few general-purpose additions of my own (which aren't included in the pack)...
http://free.grisoft.com/ - AVG Antivirus Free Edition. ClamWin (which comes with the pack) doesn't automatically scan for viruses, but this does. You might find it asking to update a lot but it's free and doesn't slow your PC down.
http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html - SUPER Converter. This'll convert just about any type of video file to any other type of video file. Problem is, it's a bit of a maze to get to the download. Go to the bottom of the page, click "Start downloading SUPER" then click the blue "download and use" link. Then scroll to the bottom of THIS page and you should see the download link.
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/ - Foxit Reader. SO MUCH BETTER than Adobe Acrobat Reader for PDFs. It's smaller, faster, easier to use, and it's free! :T
http://www.lavasoft.com/index.php - Ad-aware 2007 Free. I prefer this to the Spybot S+D included in the pack because Firefox keeps most spyware at bay. If you're still using Internet Explorer, though, you might want both of them installed.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx - Tweak UI (download is on right, near bottom). This lets you tweak the settings of Windows XP to remove some of the more annoying "features". Just don't uncheck the "Show notification icons" box or your system tray will be gone.
http://www.ccleaner.com/ - CCleaner. This is a really useful cleanup tool that you can set to run at startup, clearing your History, Temp Internet Files etc. that can take up so much space. You can choose to save certain cookies to keep your passwords, and the "Issues" scanner can repair some recurring errors and crashes. A must-have!
http://earth.google.com - Google Earth. I think everyone knows what this does, and it's free!0 -
The google pack is also nice. Can also try out the google docs and spreadsheet. Seems quite fun.0
