Context is a wonderful thing, I said I tolerated the toddler, and that was the very reason as at the end of the day it was more bite lip annoying hearing the child run about on and off for a hour or two.
Did you misunderstand the point of what I said? Specifically when I mentioned that the noise of the toddler was far more muffled than what I hear now.
I really wasnt having a go. I understand exactly what you are saying. But even if you have to "bite your lip" then you are not happy with it. It's not nice to live somewhere, where noise is an issue...0 -

It was more "oh here we go" kind of lip biting as I couldn't tell how long it would last rather than foaming at the mouth, even as it is now its similar as I don't expect silence but I don't like loud piercing noises.
I even tell my friend off when he visits (I think he has aspergers) as he walks very heavily on his heel it basically makes stomping sounds as the neighbours may complain.
Anyway I spoke to the neighbour in the flat besides him, got some more information turns out the guy has let his friends live in property basically making it a meeting place currently he said he saw 10 men go into property 2 hours ago all loud and shouting.
Apparantly when confronted by that neighbour he screamed the racist card.0 -
^ Talk to his landlord. Hopefully the landlord will understand that letting unknown groups of people live at the property will cause him problems.0

Tenants are perfectly entitled to allow whomever they wish into their property0

Contact the landlord and let them know your concerns. If they are staying at the flat on a long term basis, then you may have just solved your own noisy neighbour problem0 -
if they've just got a new washing machine etc, is it possible they're having some work done and the stompy noisy people are workmen? Only putting a couple of hours' shift in a day?Mortgage

So apparently up to ten people are living there, but they only talk for an hour or two a day.
Part time monks?
I don't know, but funnily enough the person is one of those church types who loves to go round peoples doors telling you god will save you and drinking is a sin, I assume hes bringing round his faith group of people who are rowdy and stay to late hours.0 -

There are normally rules about subletting and overcrowding and I believe about informing the landlord about who lives there.0 -

Where does this say 10 people may be living there?0
