Best way to exchange money for England

I'm going to England for 3.5 weeks over Christmas and new year. What's the best way to spend/ exchange money? Do I use my Australian credit card or debit card? Do I exchange money and use cash? Do I transfer money in to my English bank account and just use that? What is the most efficient?

You'll need to do done research on each method.

What does each charge? What exchange rate calculation would you get? Are there any other restrictions?

I suspect a competitively priced transfer into your UK account might be the answer.

28 Degrees Platinum MasterCard for your purchases.

If you can limit yourself to two ATM withdrawals over the period, mainly using the card to pay for things, you can avoid the usual 3% ATM fee and you can avoid paying any interest on the ATM withdrawal by clearing your spend via an online payment without waiting for the bill to arrive.

The other option is the Citibank Plus Everyday bank account
