Well done! Did you do it yourself? Do keep the original safe.0

I've also just discovered they have listed my flat online as being available for prospective tenants to move into from 25th November. Erm........
I'm starting to wonder if I need a solicitor at this point
Of course if you are there when they are doing viewings , you can have a discussion with the agent as to why they are evicting you ,when all you asked for is basic jobs to be doneVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -
What a rude agent!
Surely if you explained that you work from home and have a sick relative staying just now that should be sufficient for them to not just burst in when they please.
It would be reasonable of you to suggest that you will accept viewings at certain times of day, eg between 12-1 lunchtime and 6-7pm or something?
Tbh it seemed a bit strange they had a viewing already when you're not meant to leave until January. I think there must be some confusion over the leaving date.
On the positive side it means you could get away with moving out of the cold property sooner than you thought, and into somewhere with hot water and heating. That would be a good thing, right?0 -

When I nipped out to the shops earlier I bumped into a couple who were here to view a flat (not mine). They asked me what I think of the building and whether I like living here. When I mentioned that it has not been a positive experience at all, they asked me quite a few questions and then thanked me for giving them a heads up.Of course if you are there when they are doing viewings , you can have a discussion with the agent as to why they are evicting you ,when all you asked for is basic jobs to be done0

I think this thing with the move out date is part of their harrassment tactics. But then again it could be general incompetence.
My new home is not ready until my move out date in January.
But I don't understand why on earth they are advertising the flat as being available next month? Are they planning to murder me so that they can move somebody new in?What a rude agent!

Just be sure to tell the viewers that you are not due to move out until January.0 -

They probably just think they can get folks interested then keep them hanging. I'd not worry about it - you've changed the locks and you'll make sure you're there when viewings happen and can drop subtle hints, like how you're going to be really busy with trying to pack and entertain folks between Christmas/new year. In addition to being very honest about the state of repairs and the attitude of the LL!0 -

You've had a bad experience with the heating in your flat. And a bad experience with your landlord.
But you've given the impression to a potential tenant of a different flat, with probobly a different landlord, that they will/might have the same bad experience.0 -
The entire building is owned and managed by the same company, there are no individual landlords. I know for a fact that other residents have had the same problems with heating and hot water or lack thereof. This sems a bit unfair.
