VELVET TISSUE UK TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions.

A year’s supply of toilet tissue consists of 168 rolls. This is calculated from national average toilet tissue sales vs population = 42 rolls per person and 4x people per family. The winners will receive 18x 9 roll packs and 1x 6 roll pack. All packs will be dispatched by 31st December 2017.

Prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable;

If a booking is cancelled, no alternative prize will be issued;

Any costs or expenses not expressly included in the Prize pursuant to these Terms and Conditions including without limitation, car parking charges, additional excursions or attractions, any unspecified transfers will be the sole responsibility of the winner and their guest (if relevant);

Hotel rooms & spa treatments are subject to availability;

The Promoter will pay the cost of the standard room plus related room taxes; and

The winner is solely responsible for any additional charges incurred at the hotel during their stay, including, without limitation, costs of unspecified meals, drinks, additional nights, damages, late charges and services together with related taxes.

The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable service provider (such as the hotel at which the winner and their guest stays) which must be complied with by the winner and their guest in full. The winner is advised to check all booking materials and prize information on receipt.

A winner’s letter and a confirmation document detailing accommodation details will be sent out to the winner within 28 days of confirming all the details. All names given must be correct and any changes the winner wants to make are chargeable to them. The document and prize is only valid for the winner (and guest if applicable) detailed. No cancellations or amendments can be made after the booking has been confirmed.

How to Enter

Entrants must visit the Velvet Facebook Page and comment on one of the ‘Perfect Balance’ promotion posts describing where they find softness or strength in their family life. Entrants must enter between 00:00am on Friday 14th October 2016 and 11:59pm Thursday 24th November 2016 to enter.

Obscene or inappropriate entries will not be accepted. Entrants are solely responsible for the information they provide and views they express on their Facebook account. The Promoter and their agents, reserve the right to reject any entries for any reason at their sole discretion and if necessary report to the relevant authorities.

All valid entries will be submitted to a prize draw.

Winner Selection Process

Grand prize: There will be one grand prize winner. This winner will be chosen from all valid entries on Friday 25th November 2016. The winner will be chosen at random via an independently verified, randomised computer process from all valid entries received.

Runner up prizes: There will be a total of 25 runner up prize winners. These runner up winners will be chosen at the same time and using the same process as the grand prize winner.

Winner Notification

All winners will be contacted via reply to their comment on the Facebook promotional post and then dialogue will occur re the claim process.

All winners will be notified of their selection by Friday 2nd December 2016, and asked to respond for verification and claim details. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not confirm acceptance of their prize within 72 hours of notification, is disqualified or refuses the prize the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the original winner who will have their prize forfeited and pick a replacement winner drawn at the same time as the original.

During the claim process all winners will be asked to confirm their name, email address, postal address and age to verify eligibility of the prize.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify all winners including but not limited to: asking for address, email address and identity details, which they must provide within 7 days of being contacted.

The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. If the prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it for a prize of equal or higher value.

General

For the full name and county of the winners send an email to social@mediabounty.com with “Velvet Perfect Balance Competition Winners” to arrive between 30th November 2016 and 30th December 2016.

The Promoter will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries, which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to modify or suspend the promotion or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

By entering the promotion, entrants agree to have their submitted name and entry displayed on (Velvet) SCA’s Facebook page and agree that it may be used by SCA for any such purpose, at any time, without any fee or other form of compensation. The winners agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter with no recompense.
