I recently went on a chinese cookign course and it is so easy.
Make a spice mix of 1tsp ginger powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar and pinch 5 spice powder.
Prepare chicken by marinating in potato starch, water, sugar and salt.
Leave for about 30 mins then coat in potato starch and deep fry
Prepare onion, chilli and green pepper by dicing equal sizes but quite small
Fry onion/chilli/pepper in a wok for a few mins and then add a teaspoon of chopped garlic. Fry for a minute and then add chicken and sprinkle about a tsp of mix. Toss in wok and then add a dash of shaoshing cookign wine and serve immediately.0 -
