FBaby I was just thinking. I hope u wasn't thinking that £108 for drinks at home was for a week. I calculated £25 PER WEEK for two of us.
Which whilst trying to cut back and save is an extravagance I don't think is very excessive. Or is that just me?
Do you have the money set aside for your tax and NI? If not then yes £25 a week is a luxury you can't afford... do a spending diary when you go food shopping, set yourself challenges of reducing spend from £125 a week to £100, then £75 etc - make it fun!
Do cupboard challenges 😊
Reduce all the things you can, including dog walker and food, throw any spares at hard debt and cc's and stop bailing out the grown up kids for a bit...
Do you work full time? Could you increase your client list?DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Sorry to hijack this post - but does £82 really sound like a lot for electricity and gas?
I'm in a 2 bed terraced house. There's 2 of here and a toddler but we are all out from 7am - 6pm Mon-Fri... I pay £54 electricity and £54 gas. Is this too much?!0 -

I live in a 3 bed semi.
Me, partner and 2 year old, also out 7:00am - 6pm 5 days a week.
I used to pay £65 a month for gas and elec but after doing meter readings monthly my supplier has recently dropped our direct debit to £55.
We're also £190 in credit, I could get it paid back to me but Im keeping it there for the winter. When it gets to about April time I'll have any credit paid out to me (if there's any left that is, my partner loves having the heating on!)0 -
Oh my!! I'm getting such a rubbish deal with SSE
Thanks for that chelseablue - which supplier are you with? I need to think about switching ASAP!0 -
I used to be with SSE at my old address, found them expensive!
Currently with Scottish Power0 -
I have been managing to spend a lot less on food and drink. Tonight I managed to drive straight home past tesco without popping in for a few bits.. No wine 🍷.
Dogs are doing their bit by getting 30 mins walk instead of 45mins.
I do work full time but could manage to fit a few more customers in so I am setting up a fb page for my friends and client to share. Free advertising is the plan0
