    That would depend on whether they assumed the car was part of the business's assets or the private property of someone else. They may well have assumed the former, and proving they were wrong could be difficult. I heard of someone who had his car in for repair at a garage which went bust. He had a hell of a job getting it back from the administrators. What is right and what actually happens are not always the same thing.
    If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.
