Swimming lessons money back

Tried&Tested

Hi everyone
I booked private swimming lessons for my children for a 10 week course paid in advance. On the 2nd lesson our instructor had to take another class due to a previous instructor quitting. On the 5th-8th lesson our instructor had gone off sick. There was no communication from the office stating that our lessons would be cancelled. Only turning up for a lesson and then having to chase up the office asking where our instructor was did I get a "oh you're not booked for anything today" kind of response. I put a complaint in asking for my money back on the messed up lessons and the remaining lesson as I have had enough of being messed around. The email was acknowledged but nothing has been done apart from a message saying someone else would start covering lessons and my messed up ones would be added to the end. I don't want this, I want my money back.
I would like to know what my consumer rights are in regards to getting my money back for half of what I paid for. I've searched but everything seems to point to goods and services so I don't know what this would fall into with regards to how I would approach it. The company has no terms and conditions as such regarding bookings so I can't see what to do next.
Thanks.
