I believe Ikea kitchens come as flat pack, so unless you are going to put the units together yourself, you have to factor in the cost of the kitchen fitter doing it for you. Which could be quite a lot.

Source the appliances yourself (unless you are going the Ikea way). We have just had a quote from Howdens, and they quoted £3200 + VAT for the following AEG items; Induction Hob, Microwave/combi, single oven, washer/dryer and dishwasher (all integrated). I priced it myself at £2750 incl VAT and delivery, for the exact same models, from well know online stores.

We've just today had a kitchen finished. Total cost was roughly:
£4600 units/worktops/sink/tap/handles and all the carcass stuff from DIY Kitchens
£1700 for the joiner to fit kitchen, bulkhead, remove doorway to lounge and board up and lay flooring,
    £800 flooring
    £1700 appliances John Lewis
£1100 for full room plaster skim, paint, decorate, finishing
£700 sparky and plumber (new kitchen ring main, new spotlights,
plenty plumbing, moving washing machine to utility room)

The joiner is a mate who specialises in fitting kitchens as supplied and he's raving about how much better the units are than anything B&Q/Howdens sell. I'm impressed.

We used DIY kitchens. Great quality and come pre built, so much more solid than the likes of ikea that are flat pack. Got worktops from a local timber yard and handles from ironmongers. We already had some appliances, but any new ones came from ao.com

It's just B&Q tiles, Stone Style Fossilised Wood. Barely £100 for the while lot which was ace.
