Glandstone - Smart Parking Please Help!

Hi All,
First post for me but I have had long standing issues so have kept close to previous threads which have been a great help so thanks to all who post info.
So deal is I have had a number of fines from Smart Parking as they control a car park that was right next to a residential block of flats where I used to live. I had my own private space that used to be secured on an upper level but due to constant vandalism of the gate its always unsecure so I could never get into my space therefore having to park on the lower level controlled by Smart Parking.
There is no other parking in the area for miles so if our spaces are taken we have no choice but to park on the lower level.
The first couple of fines that came through got waived when I explained the situation then all of a sudden this stopped and they kept issuing them and not waiving.
After coming on here I never paid and ignored, I also called and wrote in and got nowhere, now these penalties are dated so I not have no proof of this which is my worry.
So now its got to the Gladstone letter saying pay or go court, I was going to send Daisy's template to DRP but they said sorry its pay or court you cant write in anymore so said see you in court.
I have 2 fines for £160 and £635 the car is a company car which makes life a little tricky as well.
If I could please have anyone's thoughts? Advice? I would be eternally grateful.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Dave.

Sounds like the debt collection letter that DRPlus send using Gladstone's headed notepaper. See here:
https://bmpa.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203570162-Gladstones-Solicitors
If it is the letter that does not come from Gladstone's - identifiable by where the money needs to be sent - then the BMPA (charity fighting for motorists against the PPC scams) advice is to IGNORE this version.
One version will lead to a court claim within 14 days whereas the other one does not, so if you have the DRP version, do not reply.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon - Mad,
Had a quick look and you are correct I have the latter letter that is the DRP letter.
Thank you for the response, really appreciate it, will ignore.

Hi - thanks for this post and the responses. I too received a letter from Gladstones Solicitors - totally out of the blue - saying I had previously been contacted by Smart Parking Ltd.
Unfortunately the letter doesn't have any details of the alleged incident other than the registration number of a car I haven't owned for a couple of years.
They are also requesting payment to DRPL so I will take the above advice and ignore it.
Thanks again - these forums are invaluable to those of not in the know0 -
