EE broardband totally rubbish? anythign better?

Options
Hi I currently use EE for both phone and broardband as good price, I recently renews another year as they were not bad and next year we are planning on buying a house so wanted cheap and EE is much cheaper than bt.

The last few weeks the broardband has been dreadfull, buffereing watching films via Netflix and sometimes on bbc player and youtube.

I only pay abput £20 for both as was thinking could I keep EE as my phone like and still pay the rubbish broardband but take broardban out with someone else? or do you have to have bt for that?

I spoke with EE a while ago to see if I could get better/faster broardband but there better one was unavailable in my area?

Any good/fast broardband I can use with EE phone?

thanks

The first thing I would recommend for you to do is to put your details into Samknows checker, and post the results here. Just because EE said you couldn't get faster doesn't mean the may have changed since then, or other providers may be able to offer you faster.

Turn your router off for a bit to reset.

    Contact EE support.

Yea tried switching off and on and no difference, will have to call them tonight.

I have few issues too with my laptop sometimes when using either internet explorer or firefox and I open a few windows up it comes up with message saying this is embarrassing or internet explorer shut down, not sure if this is due to too laptop or internet being bit rubbish.

How are you connected to the router ?? as this is a usual symptom of wifi connection problem .

Have you looked at your router settings
    profile and download speed .

I have tried a wire lan and its just the same, my test come out about 1.20mbps which ee said was in my contract I think they said I would get 1-5mbps which means they cant do anything about, its the fact I can use catch up tv or watch movies as it pauses/bufferes every second, its funny as a few weeks back it worked perfectly fine doing these.

turned off all electrics and just the same issue.

waiting on them getting back to me regarding getting fibre as think there is no spaces left yet so on a waiting list.

Also they have put me on two different setting in my block of flats and no differeance.
