Switching problem, help

I applied to switch to Eon via the MSE energy club and recieved an email on 28/9/16 to say my switch was in progress. As of last Wednesday I heard nothing else so I sent Eon an email. They got back to me today to say that they have no record of that address switching o ef and I should contact MSE or ring them. Any advice please as the my energy club accent is still showing the switch as in progress.

Hello Dunenergy and welcome to the Forums.
Possibly an issue with the address held by the national databases. Suppliers use these databases when switching accounts. I'd check with your current supplier that the address details are right. Also check the meters are correctly logged on the databases too. If there's a discrepancy, only the current supplier can arrange to have the databases updated.
