Opodo - 1 yr on still no refund, advice?

Any advice on what to do is much appreciated, to summarise:

Weekend wedding flights gone wrong with so much stress.
1) flights booked with Opodo in May 2015 (London- Bari / Brindisi-Zurich-London)
2) the day before departure Air Berlin changed return flight details
3) Opodo then tried to changed our booking 3 more times, on each occasion the return 2 flight transfers did not sync up
4) We left for Italy on the original out-flight but with still no return resolved, Opodo not responding to communication
5) We were forced to deal with the situation ourselves to get home by buying separate returns directly with Ryan Air whilst in Italy
6) return to UK, extra parking and train tickets incurred where we could not us with our original return
7) 3 complaint letters then sent to Opodo with copies of all of our tickets / emails over the course of a year but still no reply.

N.B. It has since become apparent that Opodo is not part of the travel ombudsman ABTA.

Please help? Other than contacting Air Berlin directly, how do we get the cost of our original returns and expenses incurred back from Opodo totalling over £300

    Contact Air Berlin directly, since they are the ones responsible.

    you may be able to claim EU compensation from Air Berlin but the extra expenses such as train tickets would be something for your travel insurance as there is no liability for consequential losses

    In order to update you on a refund status, we would need you to indicate the Opodo booking reference, the long number, so that we would be able to look into the history of your flight reservation and to advise accordingly.
