You'll need to take your toilet rolls so that you've got some in the new house of course, and can assume your buyers will do the same.0

This is why when you get older and longer in the tooth you tell the agents the house stays for sale until the deposit is paid, no sold signs when it is actually under offer, it stays in the window and all offers are considered until someone commits some money down.I do Contracts, all day every day.0

Wonder what Crashy makes of it?
Strange he hasn't been back to tell us.0 -
He'll be worrying about his rent in Edinburgh. Latest Citylets report has average rent breaking the £1000 mark, and up, on average, over 7% yoy.0

I am no expert on these matters but I find it unbelievable that this is allowed to happen...if you agree a price that should be fixed unless there are issues with the survey or valuation from the mortgage company....there should be some kind of pre contract fixing the price unless some drastic occurance, ie financial crash, survey issues etc.
Good luck0 -
Glad you stuck it out in the end, I certainly wouldn't clean it on the way out though!
I knew it was crashy posting on that first post before reading the posters name...First win (October) - Apple Ipod off a radio competition
