My Samsung TV that I purchased from Currys in April 2014 stopped showing a picture last week. Called Currys today and their automated service says it's nothing to do with them and I should speak to Samsung. Obviously I ignored this and eventually got through to speak to a human.
I got the initial denial of all responsibility that I was expecting but what really threw me was the response to the seemingly magic words "sales of goods act". He just said now you have said that we can help you. I now await a call or email compelling me to get an engineers report.
