    I have.

I was under the impression access to my details was £5 (according to the v888) but I guess this way sides-steps that cost.

yes the letter I suggested does indeed get results Free of charge , with that letter , you can ask Mr Dunsford why he is allowing this company to sell your info off to a NON ata member

MIL are not acting in the normal debt collection way , they are acting as if they are the parking Co , having bought your info , if they were acting for coast to coast , that would be ok , however the DVLA agreement that coast to coast signed does not allow them to hand / sell info to a third party that is not working for them

Who's car park was it, as far as I'm aware there's a chance the car park owners may also be in trouble as a result of the actions of their agents, for whose actions the car park owners, or who ever contacted the ppc.
The principal, in most cases the car park owner is jointly liable for the actions of its agents

So I have until the 29th to enter my defense and I've been searching around.

Should I enter my defense and then send off a Part18 request asking for them to provide the assignment of debt etc?

People seem to do it at various times so I'm not quite sure of the right time?

Yes, the Part 18 is the least important thing, should be done after you defend this and before it is allocated to the small claims track (see bargepole's post from October, summarising what happens when, which is in the NEWBIES thread under 'Small Claim?').

You need to show us your draft defence - read recent ones on pepipoo and on here (cueball's defence v MIL is the most recent one I can recall on here).
PPC was One Parking Limited (T/A Capital 2 Coast Parking Management) and the date was August 2014
There is no way on earth that their Notice to Keeper is likely to have met the requirements of paragraph 8 or 9 of Schedule 4. Read Lamilad's thread, the end posts from today, where he sets out how his Judge yesterday tore apart a Claimant for trying to hold a keeper liable outwith the POFA Sch4.

Do you have the original NTK (Postal PCN that followed any windscreen PCN)? Please show us and cover your name, address, VRN and PCN number.

  • This is not the PCN in question, however this a more recent one that I appealed. Lets proceed on the assumption anything from 2 years ago wasn't going to be more compliant then a more recent version

Papa golf, but this was not within those dates, or does that not matter?

Yes but it makes no odds to a MIL defence (except to mention in passing in the defence about the original parking firm not being a compliant operator).
