Advents 2016 - Improvements / Who's up for it?

Gleams/raff thread died after no one volunteered to do it......no volunteers for the mag dailies yet so that may die too....no volunteers for the Advents so that could be next - may need to rethink the whole system???

I'm not sure it's the system. I think maybe the community needs to find its community spirit.

I'd volunteer but I can't guarantee that my health would be up to it.

If no-one volunteers at least they can collate from the back of the thread.

Doing links in red takes an extra few secs for me, closer to heavy posting time I will red * the new ones.


If I put the newest at the top people will still moan, the best way to sort advents is to use the back of the list and swipe into your own folder and use the thanks as a marker of what you have swiped.

I can do it for a while into December but obviously once daughter has her op, if she has her op as it has been postponed before, it's downtime for me fullstop.

Whoever takes over can simply copy and paste it all into a new thread or change the format if that's what they want, their call.

Advents couldn't go onto daily, they need to be on main board, they wont be seen on daily as that is on a sub forum, hundreds use mse advents thread and it will be madness if it went to a sub forum, it will also flood the daily thread and the keeper of that would be overloaded.

If you wanna go for it just holler and I'll step down, if you do it's better to go for it sooner than later then you can arrange the thread before it gets heavy.

Tell you what If you go for it I can swap for the mag dailies of you in Jan, I'm trying to get back to doing more structured comping from New year so that could be the ooomph I need to get me to do more than end list on here x

I don't think I'll be reliable enough ... t'other night I thought I'd catch up on the Mags, it got to 11pm, still hadn't done it and I fell asleep ...
