We've a parent over on the Families board asking if they should charge their son for living at home while he's studying.
From a student point of view, what would you say? Post here or over there - if you're posting over there let them know you're a student when you do!

My 18 year old son has just started uni and also living at home and commuting to uni. I would not dream of charging him housekeeping! he works part time but I still think of him as a dependant as he is studying on a full time course. Just read the actual thread and will add that my son did not apply for a student loan, only tuition fees of £9000 for this year so far which as paid directly to uni.0
