Hi if I got the new sky Q would be it okay to work on a HD plasma tv okay.

Anybody know I take it just the 4K channels wouldn't work, the rest will be okay

Sky's feed for either box comes via the dish or the internet. The box doesn't use the TV's channel output.

It will work perfectly well in HD or SD.
The 4K programmes won't be available to you because you don't have a TV capable of displaying 4K.
