Virgin Fibre best Retensions Deal?

Any tell us theirs?

I got the dreaded price increase £2.99 letter but to be honest was looking to leave before this as paying too much @ £27.75 a mth for 70meg fibre ( raising to £30.74 in Nov)

Chap offered me the following

6mths@ £22.25 the 6mths@25.25 with a month free

Total over 12mths is £262.75

I quoted Sky/Plusnet normal broadband prices @18 a mth but he just wittered on about HD streaming wouldn't be possible with these - mentioned my usage was high for this although I don't stream movies, only use it to browse the net/emails :think:

I said I'd have a think and then get back to them.
