Hello chums was out before the streets were aired this morning and managed to get everything I needed for £17.83 which I was really pleased with.Have been knitting and watching catch-up tv this afternoon and planning my outfit for the Christmas wedding. Danny's other set of grandparents have been married 61 years this Boxing Day so it looks as though Christmas weddings are long-lasting :) They had a bit of a do last year for all the family and pride of place was the card from Buck House wishing them well on their Diamond wedding anniversary.

Dd is coming for her Sunday morning breakfast of coffee and eggs in the morning so I will get all the gen in full detail tomorrow :)

Hope everyone has had a good day today I am still walking on air at the moment :):):)

    Cheers chums

Just a brief pop in. Back from a fabulous day out. I can't believe this weather, it was so blooming good.

On the way up to Inverary the first stop was a Costa drive-through for a coffee for me. Next stop was a photo opportunity at Loch Lomond / Tarbet (and for the loos). Then we stopped at the top of Glen Croe at the Rest and Be Thankful for lots of 'oohing' and 'aahing' at the beautiful view across the glen. Finally we got to the castle. Fab tearoom! The two visitors were suitably impressed and then staggered off to the Woollen Mill shop.

Lunch sitting outside at the original Loch Fyne Oyster Bar was lovely.

We came home via the 'wobbly-wobbly' road from Arrochar to Helensburgh (past our nuclear deterrent) to the amazing Hill House. A quick call into Wait*ose for a wine top up and I'm done in!

On the downside I found an email from an old (both longstanding and elderly) with the news that he's been diagnosed with prostrate cancer which has already spread to his bones. I await more details.

Lamewolf - the Sprocker spaniel near me never barks, he sometimes whines but that's only when the shoe he has in his mouth is removed.

Reading about everyone's day is so lovely, good, bad or indifferent all the OL gang pull us through.

    Glass - wine - mouth - swallow - bliss!
