Please read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES then send the BPA template in blue. In addition complain to the BPA, DVLA, your local MP, and Mrs May that this has gone straight to debt collectors without giving you the information about appealing.

You need to drag this out for six months as only the train operating company can start court proceedings, and only for trespass, and only in the first six months after the alleged day of the vent, and only against the owner of the vehicle.

the very bottom of the letter it states London and southeast trains trading as debt recovery and prosecution and indeed the company number is southwest trains

clearly a letter trying to bribe the owner of the vehicle into paying , whilst the law clearly states that under bylaw 14 (which they are using) ots the driver that can be taken to magistrates court

a total farce and a con

  • I have tried to appeal online to Indigo, but they will not allow it and it says to contact the Debt Recovery company instead.

Appeal to Indigo using the BPA template in blue from the NEWBIES thread. Complain to the BPA and DVLA that this has gone straight to debt collectors without the option to appeal.
Also complain to your MP and Mrs May about this unregulated scam industry. See the thread that begins "This demands a new thread --- Theresa may" to find a link to the BPMA campaign about this.

  • OK, I can appeal by post to Indigo but not online as it keeps telling me my case has been passed on to the debt collectors and to contact them.

If they have, in fact, used the word **PENALTY** on either the windscreen ticket or the NtK or both, then you'll be paying nothing, as they've contravened the approved CoP which states, *VERY CLEARLY* to avoid that word as it is deemed to be holding themselves up as the authorities, which they aren't allowed to do.
