02 lack of signal

I have no signal in my university accommodation flat so I can't make or receive calls, but my signal returns when I go outside. I have done everything they have suggested but still no signal. I have contacted them to ask for some money off my bill or a credit to be added to my account but they won't do anything 'for the network issue as per our terms and conditions'.

Has anybody had any issue of this before, I have had issues since 1st September

    Try the TU Go app.
  • None of the networks guarantee indoor coverage, as the building materials are unknown. Foil backed insulation or metal cladding of commercial properties will significantly reduce mobile signals.

There are passive antennas you stick on the outside of a window with a similar one on the inside to couple the signal. They are poor though... as per the other reply, the only real solution is via WiFi or a network provided booster box, and a phone app.
