Luckily this is the only bill he was ever responsible for so can move on. Thanks
  • So is the £3400 still in the account of has your husband spent it on something else?

It's not gone somewhere through me and while I can now take responsibility for making up the arrears I unfortunately don't have £4K to hand over straight away.

It's not in his account. I think I'm discovering he has a possible gambling problem. The money is gone.

Sorry to hear that MrsF34. Gambling was the first thing that came to mind, but wanted to be tactful and not bring it up.

If it is a gambling addiction, hopefully he will admit it to you and he can then start on a course of recovery.

Thank you. It's the first sign of a gambling problem in the 5 years we have been together but then it's the first time I allowed him to be responsible for a bill. Live and learn. I think I have persuaded him to attend a GA meeting so he can maybe understand that he does have a problem. Anyway thanks
