Moving and OVO smart meter account

Hi
I'm moving from my rental property soon.
When i moved in, i switched from BG to OVO payg as I wouldn't need to go to a shop to top up.
Now I'm leaving, how do i hand it over to a new tenant?
I have no keys/cards to leave them, so how will they be able to top up? Surely it'll take some time to set up a new account with OVO?
Is there anything I can do to make it easier?

The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter

Your responsibility as a tenant is to leave the property as you found it.
If it had a payg meter when you moved in, you hould arrange for the same to be there when you move out (or vice verse).
Any cost the landlord incurrs sorting this out as a result of your switch can be passes on to you (eg via a deduction from your deposit).0
