Noddle Credit Report not updating?

Hi all.

I've just logged into my Noddle account to see that some of my credit agreements are months out of date. My mobile phone contract and loan have not been updated since the 1st of July, and my bank overdraft has not been updated since the 14th of June!

I paid off the loan and overdraft early and completely in August, but they are both still showing as unpaid. My phone contract is also showing as a higher balance than it now is.

I want to apply for car finance soon, but this out of date information might get me rejected and is looking very bad on my credit report.

Is this the fault of Noddle, or the credit lenders? Noddle say they update reports monthly, and my report was supposedly updated on the 26th of September.

Hi, might be worth checking with Experian and Equifax as well. If both are up to date and showing the correct info, either Noddle is not up dating your credit file or the Lender hasnt reported the information to them. I signed up to Noddle for the first time in the last few weeks and found a few disputes with my file....I've been very disappointed by their customer service so far...no replies to e-mails and no telephone line to contact the Noddle team....

Hi, thanks for the reply. I don't have Experian or Equifax, but I do have ClearScore.
My ClearScore accounts have not been updated since the 14th of August. ClearScore also reckon I'm not on the Electorall Roll. Stupid.

I think both Experian and Equifax offer a "free" 30 day service and you can cancel the membership before they charge you. I was able to make all the changes I needed before I cancelled my membership. As Experian and Equifax are the biggest credit agencies it might be worth checking them as well, at some point, as most Lenders seem to search/report to those 2 companies, more so than Callcredit/Noddle.....

Thank you. I've just signed up for the Experian trial, and everything is up to date and looking normal. Looks like it's Noddle's fault.

No problem....glad you were able to confirm the information on Experian. Atleast you now know where the issue is! Dont forget to cancel membership before free trial ends.;)

The hardest step is to get someone at Noddle to look at the issue for you. Seems very difficult to get hold of anyone from their customer service as doesnt seem to be a direct phone line and no replies to e-mails.....

    Good luck!;)

It's down to the lenders who will send updates to the CRA's. It's not unusual, I've had some accounts which are always 2-3 months behind in updates.
